About James Harper

James is the principal of BrookingHarper and typically oversees all the company’s projects. He has an architectural degree and many years’ experience delivering a wide range of retail projects to a diverse range of clients.

James is a Life Fellow and Past National President of the Design Institute of Australia.  He is well connected to the industry and can draw upon complementary resources and skills as and when they are required. He understands the importance of conveying brands in a retail environment, merchandising and point of sale, lighting and fixtures, finishes and planning.  He has also worked on projects at all major Australian Shopping Centres so understands their requirements as well as relevant Australian Standards and Building Regulations.
